Education:

1971 B.S. Electrical Engineering. Clemson University 

Work Experience Overview:

From 1978-1981, Charles was a Software Engineer for Caere Corporation in Los Gatos, CA. From 1983-1983 worked as a Software Engineer for Cadtrak Corp and then from 1983-1984 for Atlanta, Georgia based Digital Communications. From 2008-2010, was the Website Engineer for Bubalus Bubalis. From 2012-2016 founder and Media/Website Group Leader for North Yuba Grown. From 2014-2017 was the Production Coordinator for the North Sierra Wine Trail Brochure and Event Visa Pass. In 2018, Charles was accepted as a Board Member of the Yuba Sutter Lodging Association. From 2017 until the present, have been the Owner and Proprietor of Frenchtown Inn. Was elected to the Dobbins/Oregon House Fire Protection District Board in 2022 and took office in January of 2023 for a four-year term. Familiar with programming languages PHP, JAVA, Python, and how to make the computer do what you want it to do.

Current Assignment (apart from YCRCD):

Regularly attend Dobbins/Oregon House Fire Protection District meetings. For a year and three months served as the Fire Protection District liaison to the Yuba Watershed and Fire Safe Council. Responsible for ongoing operations of Frenchtown Inn.
